Organising art training sessions and public activities to let people with disabilities manifest their talent
People with disabilities very often do not have any professional art platforms or resources to showcase their artistic abilities. They mostly spend their time in shelter workshops doing repetitive cleaning or packaging work. The venture therefore aims to enhance the artistic skills of 40 people with disabilities by providing them with 42 diverse art training sessions which involve interaction with artists. It mainly targets individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and special educational needs. Besides, the venture will collaborate with business corporates, turning the trainees' creations into high-quality products that promote inclusion in everyday life.
In addition, the venture will organise various kinds of public activities such as bazaars, inclusive art-sharing sessions and workshops. It aims to increase exposure of the artistic talent and creativity of people with disabilities, as well as to raise public awareness of disability issues.
