Innovative Programmes

The SIE Fund supports innovative projects of different forms and at various stages of development for preventing and alleviating poverty and social exclusion, promoting social integration and enhancing people's well-being and cohesion of society

As of February 2025, under Innovative Programmes, 4381 ideas have been generated and 598 projects have been approved for funding, including 579 projects through intermediaries, two projects through the Collective Impact platform, a project through the Pay-for-Success model, four innovative projects seeking to promote inter-generational digital inclusion and 12 innovative projects under the “Smart Silver” Digital Inclusion Programme for Elders. 20108 potential social entrepreneurs have been nurtured through Capacity Building Programmes of intermediaries. Number of projects, by service nature: 95 on healthcare; 31 on food; 52 on living; 15 on transport; 170 on education and learning; 148 on job training and opportunities; 64 on community participation; 23 on others; Number of projects, by ultimate beneficiaries: 175 for children and youth; 134 for elderly; 96 for persons with disabilities; 100 for low-income families; 48 for people of diverse race; 45 for others
