Providing training and job opportunities for people with Down's syndrome, autism or other special needs
The venture targets to provide training and job opportunities for people with Down's syndrome, autism or other special needs to enhance their skills and employability.
The target beneficiaries will receive 12 hours of ongoing practical training that helps them develop interpersonal, leadership and other technical skills. They will be trained to be Love 21's customer service assistants, sports class assistants, nutritional programme assistants, and buddies/mentors for newcomers. The training will be provided by a professional learning and development company.
The project team will also provide a safe, secure and familiar environment for the trainees in its own centre, namely "Love 21 Space", so that the trainees can gain real-life work experience.
