Providing Animal Assisted Intervention (AAI) social skills therapies for children with special educational needs
With the help of a trained therapy dog, the venture aims to improve the language and social communication skills of children with special educational needs (SEN) through Animal Assisted Intervention (AAI) social skills therapies.
A total of 70 children with SEN aged from 4 to 17, mainly from the grassroots and with high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), will receive an eight-week AAI social skills group therapy led by professional behavioural therapists.
