Providing training in long-distance running for women of diverse race and local Chinese women
In some countries, running in public areas is a taboo for women due to cultural or religious reasons. The venture aims to engage and pair up girls and women of diverse race with local Chinese women for long-distance running training to promote social inclusion and cultural diversity.
Under the instruction of professional trainers, participants will learn the skills of long-distance running and how to build body strength to attain good health. They will also support each other on the running track as well as in daily life. They will be trained to participate in a 5km or 10km running race at the end of the programme.
