Providing training and job opportunities in herb planting and incense making for retired elderly living in PRH or receiving CSSA
The venture aims to recruit and provide 30 retired elderly living in Public Rental Housing (PRH) or receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) with free trial classes on herb planting and incense making. Twenty of them will be selected to receive in-depth training on guiding tours and conducting workshops for the public.
After the training, the 20 selected elderly will provide services as herb garden guides and workshop facilitators in 40 workshops for the public. Five outstanding performers will also be hired to plant herbs and make incense products.
It is expected that 30 retired elderly who are residents in PRH or CSSA recipients will benefit.
