Providing a school-based, community-oriented STEM and entrepreneurship education programme that incorporates cutting-edge smart farming technology for grassroots students
The venture provides training on sustainable development, STEM and social entrepreneurship to 1 000 grassroots students. It will establish "Smart Farm Labs" in 10 secondary schools, where students can learn about farm operations, practice vegetable cultivation, and regularly donate fresh and nutritious vegetables to at least 500 low-income families in their neighbourhood.
The venture aims to enable students to pursue diversified careers by equipping them with knowledge of sustainable development and social entrepreneurship. A long-term school-based operational model will be developed to provide learning opportunities that can assist grassroots students to break through limitations on diversified career development and address the problem of lacking fresh and nutritious vegetables faced by low-income families while reducing food waste and carbon emissions.
