Organising experiential activities to enhance students’ awareness of school bullying
Bullying in secondary schools may have an enormous adverse effect on a student, causing stress, depression and even suicide in serious cases. The venture aims to contribute to preventing students from being bullies or bystanders by raising their awareness of the problem through an experiential and interactive way.
To enhance the awareness of the young people on the impacts and consequences of bullying, the venture proposes to design and run “School Bullying” experiential workshops for secondary school students. The workshop is a 50-minute journey in which participating students will experience four types of typical bullying including physical, verbal, relational, and cyberbullying. They will also have a dialogue with victims of bullying in order to understand the problem more deeply.
