Engaging retired chefs in promotional activities to arouse public’s interest in traditional food culture and cuisines
The venture aims to conserve and sustain Hong Kong’s traditional food culture, as well as to let retired chefs demonstrate their talent while promoting traditional cuisines to the public. It will interview retired chefs and produce videos to introduce their dishes and culinary skills. The videos will be published through social media in order to arouse public’s interest, especially of the younger generation.
Apart from conducting online promotion, the venture will cooperate with the retired chefs to hold banquets and workshops with the themes of different traditional food. It targets to let more people appreciate traditional food culture.
