Providing exercise therapy courses for students with special educational needs
This venture expands on its start-up project to provide affordable and specialised sports coaching for students with special educational needs (SEN) (including children with dyslexia, developmental coordination disorder, autism, attention-deficit / hyperactivity disorder, and sensory integration disorder). The venture will also organise a Training Qualifications United Kingdom (TQUK)-accredited sports coach programme to train sports coaches specialised in teaching SEN students, as well as develop and launch the General Sports Index Awards (GSIA) as an additional assessment tool.
The venture will organise four cohorts of SEN exercise therapy courses, four cohorts of SEN coach training course and another four cohorts of sports therapy courses collaborating with schools/organisations. Each course will consist of six to eight sessions.
It will benefit 240 SEN students participating in the therapy courses and train 80 sports coaches.
