To understand and serve the elderly through experiential learning programmes and training workshops
Eldpathy adopts the strategy of “experiential learning”. Having gained personal experience of the living of the poor elderly, youths participating in the programme will understand the need of the elderly and be mobilised to take part in community services like food support.
With funding support from the SIE Fund, Eldpathy will scale up its operation. More training workshops will be organised for members of the business sector to enhance their understanding of the needs of the elderly. This helps the companies in research and development of goods and services for the silver age market.
With the scale up in operation, grassroots elderly will be hired to lead the above-mentioned activities, contribute to the society and interact with different sectors of the society. This helps prevent social exclusion.
The venture has received funding support from the SIE Fund for another scale-up project.
