The venture aims to empower youths with autism to pursue fulfilling and challenging careers, fostering their self-reliance and integration into society by providing training sessions and job opportunities in the aquaculture industry.
The venture will organise fish farm visits, provide a 40-hour aquaculture on-site training programme, and participate in market events to showcase and sell aquacultural products produced by the participating youths as part of their training, with a view to engaging youths with high-functioning autism in the workforce and fostering community inclusiveness.
