Offering pottery training to academically struggling high school students from low-income families to help them develop their vocational skills and enhance opportunities for upward mobility
The venture provides pottery training for academically struggling high school students, particularly those from low-income families living in subdivided flats. The training will develop their vocational skills while boosting their interest in further education, thus increasing opportunities for upward mobility. Participants will undergo a six-month to one-year programme which includes pottery courses and internships at elderly centres. The training will deepen the students’ understanding of pottery and prepare them for a better career path.
