Providing storytelling training to the elders to enhance their abilities and sense of identity, thereby fostering intergenerational inclusion
The venture will empower the elders, mainly singletons and doubletons, through storytelling training that enhances their abilities, self-esteem, and sense of identity. By converting the elders’ experiences into social capital, which will be shared by the elders as real stories in creative educational activities in primary and secondary schools, tertiary institutions and communities, it will foster mutual respect and intergenerational bonding. Additionally, the elders will form an alumni group and meet regularly to build community connections and reduce loneliness.
