Providing an AI-driven platform to support families of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)

Optism is an existing autism information platform featuring an AI-driven chatbot that provides real-time support and bilingual resources in Chinese and English to families of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

The venture aims to launch Stage 2 Optism by introducing a triage system and expert guidance functions. This stage will connect experts in ASD, utilising AI to match suitable experts with families in need, thereby providing personalised support. It will also facilitate referrals for offline consultation with experts or small NGOs.

Additionally, the venture will introduce community features that allow parents to interact with peers through the platform, fostering a closer ASD community. Outreach activities will also be organised or co-organised, alongside the production of YouTube videos and promotional efforts on social media platforms to reach more families and raise public awareness of ASD.
