Promoting adaptive clothing and organising workshops to provide support for carers of the elderly or people with disabilities

 

 

The venture aims to promote adaptive clothing for the elderly or people with disabilities and share caregiving experience amongst carers and students.

Experiential workshops will be organised for 300 carers and 150 students to introduce the design of adaptive clothing, provide trial and let carers share (via “human library”) their caregiving experience.

Four women from low-income families will be recruited and receive training on the production of adaptive clothing, while another 8 carers will be trained to be ambassadors for the “human library”.
