Utilising idle capacity of private medical consultation services to better serve the needs of elderly
Caring Clinic HK was founded by a group of professionals, including doctors, physiotherapists and surveyors, who are concerned about our elderly. The project aims to address the problem of long queues for specialist outpatient services in public hospitals, through encouraging clinicians to utilise their idle capacity to provide consultation quotas to patients regularly. After matching, elderlies who are waiting in the long queues for public healthcare services may consult and receive medical treatment in private clinics at reasonable costs. This helps them get a real “speedy recovery”!
