Providing on-the-job training in digital marketing for disadvantaged youths
The venture will offer short-term on-the-job training to 14 youths from low-income families or from diverse race, who are ready to enter job market but with no or limited job experience. They will be assigned to assist the project team in marketing and promotion of products of social enterprises and in organising related marketing events. Through these tasks, the youths will acquire skills related to digital marketing strategy, digital content creation, as well as analytics and reporting.
In addition, the venture will provide four-week training in digital marketing to 120 young trainees to build their digital marketing portfolio. The training course comprises four modules including (i) market research and campaign strategy, (ii) content creation and social media advertising strategy, (iii) live case practice as well as (iv) one-on-one career consultation.
