Enhancing social engagement for the elderly and underprivileged youth through urban farming
SHARE is a social enterprise which aims to establish an urban rooftop community of organic farming to let more people experience organic farming. Instead of solely commercial operations, it creates social value by recruiting and training underprivileged youth aged 15 to 28 to operate the farm with a view to bringing them positive impact in knowledge, social skills, work experience and mental health. This venture will also organise classes, workshops and elderly activities to promote the healthy lifestyle and social inclusion.
