Yvonne Yeung started her career as a Financial Consultant in the banking industry. As a Christian, she has a passion for serving the community. In 2002, she made a career move to the social service sector and put her financial knowledge to work for social businesses.
In 2012, she took up the role of Chief Executive at the Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA). Yvonne has been driving social entrepreneurship within YWCA. She promoted silver age business, established the "Y" series brand, and successfully launched a number of initiatives including the Y Delight Membership Welfare Shop and Y Silver Link Elderly Household Product Retail Store. In 2013, YWCA collaborated with NWS Holdings Ltd to set up the Y Care Day Care Centre for the Elderly, which was a successful example of cross-sector collaboration.
