Utilising public spaces to bring neighbours together and enhance the quality of life and well-being of low-income families
The venture aims to improve the quality of life and well-being of 1 830 residents from low-income families living in public housing in Tin Shui Wai and subdivided units in Tsuen Wan by transforming underutilised sites around underprivileged neighbourhoods into a welcoming community space for all.
It adopts a cross-sectoral collaboration model, leveraging existing networks involving NGOs, schools, and corporates, and launches a mobile cart to promote co-creation, co-learning and community participation and establish a liveable and resilient community.
