Personal Profile
Dr Elsie Tsui is the Head of Social Innovation at The Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and the Project Director of the Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge (HKSEC). In her role, Dr Tsui leads the team to encourage CUHK members to co-create social impact through application of evidence-based knowledge and entrepreneurship. Prior to joining the University, she has extensive experience both as a corporate executive and a management consultant.
Specialising in innovation management, innovation capability building through design thinking, as well as organisation transformation strategy, Dr Tsui has led many high impact training workshops for leaders from Fortune 500 companies. She has been based in London and Shanghai.
Dr Tsui teaches Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at CUHK Business School. She majored in Sociology and minored in Journalism & Communications at CUHK, and graduated with first-class honours. In addition to an MBA from Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, she has also received Doctor of Business Administration degree from Grenoble Ecole de Management, researching the collaboration and learning networks of social enterprises in Hong Kong. Dr Tsui is a Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA).
