Extending the promotion of the “co-cooking model” to other food factories and entrepreneurship among grassroots women
The venture aims to empower more “home chefs” (who are grassroots women) to become entrepreneurs and pilot the “co-cooking model” in other food factories in Hong Kong.
Riding on the success of a start-up project and a scale-up project funded by the SIE Fund, the project team aims to (i) expand the co-cooking space of the existing setup at Tsuen Wan by partnering with four food factories in different districts; (ii) strengthen the training and support for “home chefs” for their further business development; (iii) launch a new online application and reservation platform to manage the reservation of co-cooking space; and (iv) introduce a new revenue-sharing model with “home chefs” to promote entrepreneurship.
