The fifth meeting of the second term Task Force was held on 29 January. At the meeting, the Task Force had reviewed the progress of the Fund and shared their views on the direction of the tasks ahead. All suggestions will be taken into account in the formulation of the work plan for the Fund, which will be further scrutinised by Task Force for finalisation.

PolyU Technology and Consultancy Company Limited declared the start of Good Seed 2016 at the kick-off ceremony on 16 January. Being run for the second year, the intermediary's programme will continue to help participants apply design and technology in incubating innovative ideas. It also offers funding and mentor support for prototype projects. Good Seed 2016 is open to students and alumni of higher education institutions and is accepting applications until 2 March. At the same occasion, 10 winning projects of Good Seed 2015 approved for grant of funding support from the SIE Fund for implementation were also announced. Best wishes to the winning teams and their projects.
