The latest issue of our newsletter is published, bringing you news about the Fund’s activities. In this issue you will find an introduction of the newly launched Shared Value initiative, invitation of proposals for the Evaluation Study, latest status of the food support flagship project, the Social Innovation Jam Campus Tour, and the Commission on Poverty Summit. The Commission on Poverty Summit was held on 10 October, at which each Task Force gave an account of its work progress. A video summarising the Fund’s development in the previous year was shown, followed by an introduction of the direction of forthcoming work by Task Force Chairperson Prof Stephen Cheung. A brochure and an infographic leaflet were also distributed. In the later part of the Summit Prof Cheung joined the Chief Executive, the Chief Secretary for Administration, principal officials / under secretary of the relevant bureaux and the Chairpersons of other Task Forces in a discussion session to exchange views with the participants on subjects related to poverty alleviation.
