Task Force Chairperson interviewed
in RTHK radio programme
Chairperson of the SIE Fund Task Force Dr Jane Lee was interviewed in an episode of the radio programme 新紫荊廣場 of the Putonghua channel of Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) and had conversations with the host Ms Joyce Yeung and Ms Jessie Yu Sau-chu, a member of the Commission on Poverty, around the theme “social innovation contributes to poverty alleviation” and highlighting the Fund’s 10 years of achievements as well as its plans and prospect.
In the interview, Dr Lee shared how the SIE Fund created social impact through funding different projects including FOOD-CO, the Gerontechnology Platform, CharityToday, and various innovative projects. Concluding the interview, Dr Lee remarked that the SIE Fund will strengthen its efforts in supporting the Government’s strategy of “targeted poverty alleviation” and will join hands with different sectors of society to foster social innovation, addressing the most concerned poverty issues and the needs of vulnerable groups.
