Chairperson of SIE Fund Task Force interviewed by radio programme
revealing activities in celebration of the Fund’s 10th anniversary
Chairperson of the SIE Fund Task Force Dr Jane Lee joined other social innovators to share their experiences and aspiration in a series of four episodes of interview segments in the radio programme “Our Way Out” on Commercial Radio CR1.
As the guest for the first episode, Dr Lee talked about the changes in the social innovation ecosystem in the past ten years and elaborated on the future development of the SIE Fund. She also revealed that a host of activities in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Fund will roll out and members of the public will be invited to participate.
Interviewees of the other three episodes include Queenie Man, founder of “Sensory Restaurant on Wheels”; Zip Cheung, founder of “OHH Dear Communications”; Connie Ng, officer-in-charge of the flagship project “FOOD-CO”; Nathan Hui, co-founder of “NeuroGym”; Alvin Cheung, co-founder of “HandyRehab”; and Prof Catherine So, founder of “Online and Home-based Robot for Autism Behavioral Intervention”. They will summarise from the perspectives of innovative approach, cross-sector collaboration and application of technology how projects supported by the SIE Fund achieved “targeted poverty alleviation” and "make dreams come true".
Beginning on 24 July, the series runs for four consecutive Mondays in the programme “Our Way Out” on Commercial Radio CR1. Audio clips will also be available on the 881903 website.
