Chairperson of the SIE Fund Task Force Dr Jane Lee, together with Vice-chairperson Alvin Miu and representatives of the Secretariat, attended a press conference of the funded project CharityToday. Launched by St. James’ Settlement and applying information technology to social service, CharityToday is a new one-stop search and application platform for assistance programmes. Through this digital platform, beneficiaries of subsidy programmes can enjoy dignity, convenience and a diversity of choices.

“CharityToday has pioneered a new model of charitable support. It is hoped that more generous corporations will launch their programmes on this platform and that more stored value facilities will join to make good use of technology to provide greater convenience and suitable aid to people in need,” said Dr Lee at the event.
